Recurrent Ventures is seeking a Client Partner to help increase sales revenue across our automotive portfolio. The ideal candidate will identify business opportunities, negotiate deals and educate advertisers/agencies on how to achieve their goals through our media products (Donut Media and TheDrive.com). 

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge base of selling across multiple properties to both endemic and non-endemic brand partners. 

Prior experience working at a digital publisher, agency or YouTube channel is a plus.  

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales cycle from start to finish – prospect, identify contacts, negotiate and secure digital advertising campaigns
  • Meet/exceed revenue goals in accordance with the sales plan
  • Provide ongoing sales activity reporting and analysis for accurate revenue forecasting
  • Drive the entire sales funnel including lead generation, meetings, RFP, negotiating, closing, and advising campaign cadence
  • Build strong and profitable relationships with key clients, and constantly grow revenue from existing and new partnerships
  • Comfort pitching in front of senior-level executives
  • Enthusiasm for strategic client mapping, prospecting, entertaining
  • Work collaboratively with ad ops, client support and creative teams to ensure client success

 

The Qualifications:

  • Passion for digital advertising and strategic selling
  • Track record of performing against quota 
  • Strong client relationships with access to brand marketers and executive-level agency decision-makers
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting in front of a client 
  • Team player 
  • Understands the value and challenge of being a member of a growth-stage brand in a start-up environment.
